Autopsy & Fetal Losses

Alberta Precision Laboratories offers autopsy services to families when cases do not involve the Medical Examiner’s office. An autopsy may be requested by the authorized representative through the physician.

Special handling procedures must be followed for autopsies on bodies with known or suspected communicable disease.
