National Day for Truth & Reconciliation Retro Payment for APL Terminated Employees

Former employees of Alberta Precision Laboratories and members of Health Sciences Association of Alberta (HSAA) or Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), who terminated employment after Sept. 30, 2021, may submit a request for payment of the Sept. 30, 2021 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Named Holiday. Full-time employees who earned Named Holidays will receive a Named Holiday pay out. Employees who worked on Sept. 30, 2021 and were paid straight time (1X) will be corrected to Named Holiday pay (1.5X).

Requests will be accepted until Aug. 22, 2022 and payment will occur approximately three weeks later. When submitting your request, please indicate your

• Employee Name
• Employee e-People ID number
• Termination Date
• Mailing Address, if address has changed since date of termination.
